Management Accountant—full time—Goulburn, NSW
If accountancy is what you know and love, our international business, which employs more than 200 staff, is looking for a financial whizz, who’s a problem solver, solution seeker and strategic thinker, to be a key player on our financial team.
Ours is a complex operation, so to be considered for this role you’ll need to have tertiary qualifications (or be studying for professional qualifications) in business or accounting and have demonstrated experience in providing high-level commercial, financial accounting, budgeting and reporting support.
You’ll use your knowledge and experience to oversee the day-to-day financial management of our production facilities, including stock accounting and statistical measures, as well as the end-to-end management of our budgeting and forecasting process.
Apart from providing accounting advice across our financial team, you’ll liaise closely with—and offer support to—our farm managers to ensure their facilities operate effectively and profitably. You’ll be a fast learner, so you’ll get your head around the technical aspects of our company in no time.
You’ll need to be strong and sharp with words as well as numbers, so you can provide our Financial Controller with accurate, complete, timely and clear monthly reporting, analysis and insightful commentary on how our various farms are performing.
To communicate your findings effectively, you’ll need to know the ins and outs of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
