Head of Client and Customer Services

If you’re a strategic thinker who’s a master at managing business relationships, we’ve created a new position in our head office that could be right up your alley. 

We’re looking for a people-leader with demonstrated experience in client and customer services, as well as operations management, preferably within a logistical environment; someone who isn’t fazed by working across multiple projects and is capable of coming up with creative and innovative ways to improve our well-established business.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage the relationships between our distribution clients and customers. You’ll also be responsible for formulating customer and client strategies and development opportunities, and ensuring our customer service and credit teams meet their KPIs and exceed customer expectations. 

As required, you’ll relieve our distribution centre manager; and, occasionally, you’ll venture beyond the office to see clients and customers. 

Specifically, you’ll ensure that our business achieves its service level agreements with clients and customers, to whom you’ll report regularly. 

You’ll also liaise with our operational team to ensure all reasonable client requests are met and that our clients, in turn, meet their contractual obligations. 

You’ll also make sure that injury and well-being risks are effectively identified and managed. 

Your verbal and written communications skills will be called into play daily—from liaising with clients and customers to presenting monthly performance reports to our distribution and agency representatives.
