Cellar Door Manager
An established winery in the heart of the Southern Highlands is looking for a vibrant and energetic cellar door manager to provide our visitors with an exceptional wine tasting and customer service experience, and oversee our cellar door’s day-to-day operations.
Apart from being passionate and knowledgeable about wine, you’ll possess an entrepreneurial sales and marketing skills set, together with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Thanks to your background in customer service in a similar premium environment, you’ll have a warm and welcoming demeanour, and an exceptional and enviable sales record.
To thrive in this busy position, you’ll need to be a motivated self-starter, who thinks laterally and independently but is, at the same time, team-oriented.
You’ll also be meticulous, tech savvy and organised, especially since you’ll be managing our wine club, including our monthly long lunch for members, and creating special offers to drive membership.
Having a high level of computer literacy is a must, given that digital and social media marketing and the management of our website will also be an important part of your job. And you’ll need to be strong on the numbers front because the management and reporting of inventory along with daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting will be your responsibility, as well.
You’ll work from 9am to 5pm (until 5.30pm some days) Thursday to Monday, which will involve public holidays. To be considered for this role, you must have a RSA, current NSW driver’s licence and Australian citizenship or residency (or a valid Australian work permit). Ideally, you’ll be able to join our close-knit team by 1 November 2019.
A competitive salary package awaits the right candidate.
